missing ISGs/IRGs

June 9th, 2009

Hi,

If your favourite ISG/IRG isn’t in INTERFEROME could you let us know with appropriate evidence such as a journal article or citation demonstrating regulation by IFN? That will ensure novel ISG’s are included in INTERFEROME.

Type I IFN signaling Pathway

November 27th, 2008

I’ve added the type I IFN signaling pathway (both classical JAK-STAT signaling as well as non-canonical signaling pathways) on to wiki pathways.

The pathway diagram is a work in progress and I’d appreciate if IFN biologist updated the relevent pathways incorporating their specialist knowledge. I hope to add downstream Interferon Regulated Genes as well and if people are interested in contributing to building the interferon regulated gene network please contact me. These pathway and network diagrams are immensely helpful when analysing high-throughput data sets.

INTERFEROME @ Cytokine 2008 (ICS/ISICR)

October 14th, 2008

Thank you to all who visited the INTERFEROME poster at the Cytokine 2008 Conference in Montreal, Canada. We look forward to hearing your responses once you’ve tried our database. This is a community resource and it’s usefulness will increase with additional datasets. If you have microarray or proteomic datasets where cells/tissues were treated with type I, II or III IFNs and would like to submit the data to be included in INTERFEROME we would like to hear from you! Additional datasets will enable us to provide even more useful functionality. Use the contact form to get in touch with us.
